Night Swim at Spruill Center for the Arts brings together Atlanta artists Hannah Ehrlich and Thomas Flynn II in an exhibition that moves through memory, personal history, and shifting states of perception. Pairing Ehrlich’s textile-based work with Flynn’s multilayered sculptural paintings, the exhibition considers how inner experience can be shaped by cycles of growth and decay.

Rather than treating memory as fixed, the exhibition approaches it as unstable and evolving. The dialogue between textile and painting creates a visual rhythm that reflects the artists’ psychological and material investigations, allowing personal histories to surface through layered form, texture, and process.

Night Swim invites viewers into a space where emotional residue, transformation, and recollection remain in motion, linking interior experience with the physical language of the work on view.
